The Centenial Model School, Chitral Town

The Government Centenial Model School was established in 1922 by Sir Muhammad Nasir Ulmulk, then ruler of Chitral. The school has contributed a great deal in producing a cadre of professionals e.g. doctors, engineers and teachers and so on who later on played role in running the line departments when Chitral became part of the federation of Pakistan in 1969. The Centenial Model, being the first school in Chitral's history, is called the mother of schools within the Chitral district.
