Hi everybody!

Time for me to inform you a little about the last events of the half past year.

As I told you the new school year started in August. We were expecting admissions and they came! About 50 new students were enrolled, which to the local norms is quite an achievement. Not many schools can claim such a flow of admissions.

IBCSK—the Catalyst Institution for Poor-friendly Education in Northern Chitral

With growing population and shrinking natural/land resources, it becomes all the more pertinent to impart standard but affordable education to the children of poor families in the far-flung regions of northern Chitral so that their educational and interpersonal qualities will be groomed up consistent with the requirement of modern age to make them useful and responsible citizen apart from being a source of financial support for their poor parents in their old age.

IBCSK's Environmental Friendly Students

IBCSK students are always out to keep the natural environment clean and tidy. It is a key priority of the school education to instil sense of environmental friendliness in the students and some times to take them out for practical waste disposal. On such occasion, practical at work knowledge sharing practices with regards to natural environment and biodiversity are carried out.

The Reunion of Morther & Sons

Yual and Milan with Wendy in Kosht. They seem much relaxed and natural with their mother. It must be noted that both Yual and Milan were born in Chitral, northern Pakistan and therefore they like Chitral. They always prefer to put on the IBCSK dress and badge besides joyfully attending some classes along with the fellow students. Both of them are lovable, intelligent and friendly kids. We miss them when they return to Belgium!
